Having studied business at university, and then taking time out to travel the world, my horticultural journey initially started in the late 90’s working as a Gardener in Sydney, Australia. The lure of working amongst beautiful flora and fauna in exclusive harbour-side gardens, under virtually constant blue skies, ensured I extended my visa on a number of occasions.

Upon returning to the UK, my career in the outdoors progressed to working for some of the South of England’s leading construction, landscaping and arboriculture businesses, picking up a wide range of skills and experience along the way, which eventually lead me to studying Garden Design at Sparsholt College, where I also obtained a City & Guilds NPTC Level 2 Award in Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross-cutting.
